Our Work

Earth Rooted is a movement of educators, technologists, humanitarian workers and people from conflict-affected communities working together to close the distance between "over there" and "right here." Every Earth Rooted programme follows the same core method: experience, then reflect.

Classroom Education Programmes

Our school programme is a sustained curriculum built alongside teachers. Across four to six sessions, students move from the first encounter through to facilitated debate and complete the programme with specific personal project. The programme is paced carefully with a trained facilitator in the room and an opt-out at every stage. Delivered in-person across Europe and remotely to classrooms worldwide.

Workplace Programmes

Professional judgement about conflict depends on the depth and quality of the understanding behind it. Our workplace sessions give teams, journalists, policymakers and humanitarian workers a grounded, firsthand encounter with the conflicts that shape their work followed by structured reflection on what to do with it. Available in-person and remotely, for teams and institutions across Europe and beyond.

Public Awareness Pop-up Installations

The Conflict Reality Lab is designed for public space and public audiences. Inside, VR stations sit alongside interactive maps, testimony listening booths and media walls that put the headline next to the reality. The whole thing runs without a ticket, with none of it requiring anything from a visitor except a willingness to stop and listen.
